Built-Up Roof:
- Remove existing roof surface
so that the deck is clean and dry.

If necessary, remove and reinstall
cooler unit, A/C unit, satellite, and/or solar unit.

If necessary, replace any decking
that is rotted—could be plywood, 1 x (n) wood, or tongue-in-groove wood.

If necessary, replace fascia.
-
Wrap parapet wall with
fiberglass where applicable.

Install cant strip where applicable.
-
If necessary, replace skylights.
-
Install new heavy gauge metal
edging with a three-course application.

Install 28 lb. base.
-
Install 2 layers of 12 lb. ply,
overlapped 18 inches, for 3ply; install 3 layers of 12 lb. ply, overlapped 27 inches, for 4ply.

Seal all protrusions on the
roof with Elastek® crack and joint seal
for water-tightness.
-
Completely clean all roofing
debris from premises.
-
After roof
is allowed to cure, apply 2 coats of Elastek® Solar
Tek Extreme™ roof coating.
Shingle Roof:
ABR uses only nails--NO staples--for shingle fastening.

Remove existing roof surface

Install 30 lb. underlayment.

If desired, install a vent
ridge at peak of roof.

Install shingles—30 year,
40 year, or 50 year manufacturer's warranty, in the color desired.

Seal all protrusions on the
roof with Elastek® crack and joint seal
for water-tightness.
-
Completely clean all roofing
debris from premises.
